End of trail

 

These competitions are run twice a year and are a way for everyone to have fun and shoot all the guns that would have been used in the old days by the cowboys.

Traditionally done at the end of a long cattle drive when all the hard work is done, the shoots were used to test a cowboys all round ability with shotgun, under lever and pistol.  For those that are keen we also do a little bit of knife throwing in memory of our good friends Ken and Dougie.

The guns you need for the competition are:

Shotgun - non ejector - about 25 cartridges

Under lever - about 30 rounds

Revolver (cap and ball) - about 20 rounds

If you don't have any of the above you are still welcome to join in the fun, but will not be ranked in the results.
