Quigley Shooting Association

Mini Tight Group

The competition is run on the same lines as the QSA Tight Group competition and as before the only wind indicators are grass and dust, so no wind flags are permitted.

For this competition you are only allowed to use pistol calibre under lever rifles.  Each firer has to fire four separate groups of five rounds at 100 metres on a standard 25 yard pistol target.  The resulting group sizes recorded are then added together and divided by 4, to give an average group size for the 20 shots.

As per Benchrest rules, firers are allowed to rest the rifles front and back if they wish.

It is not uncommon to see groups smaller than 4 inch, but consistency is the trick!
